I’m taking flying lessons for a month now, having a blast. More on that in a future post. The airplane I’m flying is a Citabria, which is a tried and true airplane that’s been around for about 40 year.
Yesterday I was surprised to hear about Steve Fossett’s disappearance. Surprisingly, he was flying a Citabria (though a more powerful model than the one I’m flying). It was disturbing to hear that after flying every conceivable experimental airplane, he crashed in a good old Citabria. I sure hope they find him alive soon.
